Keeping up a healthy social life is critical to our well-being, as a society we’ve all turned inward to our devices rather than noticing each other. People in Blue Zones turn outward and remain plugged into one another.
“One of the most dependable ways to get happier is spend more time socializing,” says Dan Buettner of The National Geographic . “The happiest people are socializing six to seven hours a day. According to the article you need at least three friends you can call on in times of need – not to can shave as much as eight years off your life!
That’s horrific, and really got me thinking, in this transitory world, we need to make our friendship last.
